EA7 Autumn/Winter 2010-2011

Over recent years the EA7 range has established a distinctive identity in the world of sport, always adopting new technical developments to improve performance. The latest collection, for Autumn/Winter 2009-10, maintains its ongoing commitment to cutting-edge clothing for mountain, golf and fitness enthusiasts. This new collection offers, once again, ergonomic garments with breathable, absorbent and water repellent qualities, in a choice of natural fibres and technical fabrics. It delivers precision in terms of shape, and sophistication where colour is concerned. The palette includes shades ranging from classic midnight blue, black, white and grey, with touches of coral, ice and pastel green, to very feminine tones of mauve and bougainvillea, all of which express the quintessence of the Armani style.

SNOW – The EA7 range for mountain lovers offers a perfect combination of design, comfort and fashion resulting from the highest manufacturing standards and the use of top quality high-tech functional materials. To meet the challenges of the slopes, the collection presents, for the first time ever, a primary layer of knitwear in wool available in three options: long sleeve, short sleeve and polo. The collection also offers a new series of extra-light puffas in breathable fabric, padded with top-quality goose down, and new ski-suit designs for both men and women – warm, sporty yet fashionable, made in breathable fabrics, offering great wind and snow protection, and featuring shiny inserts, ribbons and personalized zipper pulls.

Appealing specially to women, there is a trendy short sleeve anorak for leisure time, with a belt featuring a branded EA7 buckle.

Glamorous accessories complete the look: from hand-crafted skis to snowboards, gloves in cordura stretch fabric with a specifically designed anatomical fit, various types of hats and caps, including a Russian style model featuring ear flaps and visor in eco fur, and pure wool scarves and warm headbands.

In a world of white snow, EA7 also launches its own snowbike, all black with silvered logos. This is a machine for a sport more closely related to motocross than to snowboarding, to be pursued in black and red techno T-shirts with protective padding on the elbows and shoulders, with knee-length trousers in nylon with a metallic finish.

GOLF – The EA7 Golf collection continues to offer high performance clothing and accessories to raise the level of both game and style. The silent techno fabrics are ideal for winter rounds of golf, always guaranteeing good breathability and optimum performance. In the knitwear section, alongside a choice of garments in stretch microfibre, there are pieces which incorporate an important feature: the use of special Coolmax climate-responsive fibres, which have the advantage of expelling moisture to the outside and drying out quickly, maintaining excellent breathability; improved evaporation and a dry body result in less expenditure of the energy needed to cool the body, consequently increasing physical performance. Classic polo shirts complete the look, in techno micro piquet with enhanced breathability, while fleeces with short or long sleeves are ideal for low temperatures. There are also windproof and waterproof jackets and cotton trousers in a classic but sporty cut. The choice of accessories is now wider than ever: as well as golfing bags and gloves, hats and visors, EA7 offers a multicoloured golf umbrella, with handles that open out into a comfortable seat featuring the EA7 logo in reflective silver.

FITNESS – The EA7 range for fitness enthusiasts offers an ever-increasing selection of items. As well as the classic jumpsuits in stretch cotton, the collection now presents an extremely luxurious line in chenille-effect velvet: warm, soft and body hugging. For men, the collection includes a large choice of T-shirts, some of which are available in Meryl Skinlife micro fibre versions that are defined by their honeycomb construction which provides maximum comfort during training. There are also slim blousons in breathable techno fabric, lined with thermo-regulating micropolar fleece, K-ways in light rainproof nylon, supplied in a special branded bag, as well as fleeces, cargo pants in woven fabric, shorts for indoor running, boxing related garments, and ultra-tech Lycra swimwear, with goggles and cap for the pool. A significant development is that many of the new garments incorporate hollow bamboo fibre, offering excellent breathability and heat retention benefits: non allergenic and providing protection against UV rays, bamboo contains honey pectin, which is healthy for the skin, as well as an anti bacterial agent known as “Bamboo Kun”, which has natural anti bacterial and deodorant properties. For women, the collection explores T-shirts, dresses, tops, tank tops, fuseau leggings, windproof blousons and cross-over tops, often constructed in precious fabrics like soft viscose and silk, or in an ultra fresh blend of viscose and cashmere, giving a natural feel on the skin, while always presenting an elegant and refined look. The knitwear, in particular, benefits from the use of Modal textile fibres, obtained from beech wood, which impart a silky glossiness and a wonderful tactile quality. The fabrics in cotton/Modal blend retain their shape and elasticity even after many washes, are easy to look after and preserve their brilliant colours for a long time. To complete the look, EA7 proposes, for the winter season, a wide selection of accessories, including a choice of bags and backpacks.
