THE ARMANI GROUP ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES
The Armani Group announces management changes with effect from 1st January 2010. Gianni Gerbotto will leave his current position as General Manager of Giorgio Armani S.p.A. and will be given responsibility for the company’s financial management and investments within the Board of Directors. John Hooks, currently Deputy General Manager will become Deputy Chairman of Giorgio Armani S.p.A. and will join the Board of Directors with responsibility for global commercial strategy and markets and brands development. He will maintain all his current responsibilities for the foreign subsidiaries. Livio Proli, currently General Manager of the Giorgio Armani S.p.A.’s controlled subsidiary Simint S.p.A. will become General Manager of Giorgio Armani S.p.A and be responsible for operational and commercial management.
